How did this person make a difference in your life?

"Ms. Hancock has never given up on me throughout my years of high school. From day one, Ms. Hancock  has believed in me and has helped me believe in myself." - Aiyanna 

"For the longest time, I have always focused on the 'what could happen.' My coach always pushed the Cross Country team to do their best, especially me, during those long and difficult practices. She taught me the importance of living in the moment with those you cherish, instead of focusing on the future when it's unknown. Coach K is an incredible woman who has struggled but has overcome so much; she has been an unforgettable example in my life. I focused on the goal when I didn't take the time to focus on what made the journey worth it. My own thoughts, worries, and expectations for myself put this heavy burden on my shoulders until I couldn't carry it anymore. She helped me find strength, endurance, and even the hilarious aspects of some 'never-gonna-happen' thoughts I believed would happen. We laughed, I cried, we talked for hours upon hours, and then I wanted to ask her to accompany me during the Homecoming Assembly when I was chosen. I wouldn't have had it any other way." - Brooklynn
